It is now less than a week until we host our second 'The Thoughtful Night Market' in collaboration with Thought Foundation. We are so excited to bring you this night out with a difference. We've had lots of questions about the event so let us give you the low down of what to expect.
We have been super lucky since starting The Crafthood to collaborate and meet so many amazing creatives; some of those are joining us to provide a gorgeous selection and range of stalls at the market. You can scroll through this gallery to see some of what you can expect.
Workshops & Masterclasses
Across the evening - Brain Space - Thought Foundation's workshop room will be in full use with a range of great activities for you to get involved in. There'll be Gin Masterclasses run by event sponsors, Durham Distillery, at 6pm and 9pm. Learn the history of gin, how it's made and more importantly taste all of the gin Durham Distillery has to offer!
A Summer Floral Wreath workshop will be on offer led by Fiona from Greenwolds. The wreaths include a succulent or airplant so even once your wreath is past its best you will have a unique houseplant to keep. Advance booking for this workshop is now sold out but there will be a few spaces available to sign up to on the night. Greenwoods will also have a stall catering to all your green-fingered needs.
We'll be running a hand knitted necklace workshop - you can join us to create your very own eco-chic statement necklace. No experience is required. We can teach you to finger knit these super wearable t-shirt yarn beauties. For those of you who are already knitters, there are other options also available. We have a gorgeous array of yarns for you to choose from too. If you'd rather just buy one that we have made, we have that sorted too and have been busy knitting up a stylish storm in preparation for the night.
These workshops are ticketed as numbers are limited. The price of the ticket includes entry into the market. There will be some spaces available for sign up on the night for those people who are not a
